Big Tea Cosy

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Big Tea Cosy – the cake makers, the soup makers, the helpers and all the people who ate the cake and drank the tea.

An amazing total of £625.00 was raised for The Haven.

In the words of someone who has benefitted from their help:

“Thank you so much for your generous support given to the Big Tea Cosy for The Haven.   I personally have benefitted hugely from this amazing charity who supports anybody with a breast cancer diagnosis.  I received advice from a specialist nurse, counselling, reflexology, yoga and had somewhere to go outside of the hospital environment which made me feel normal in such challenging circumstances.  It costs The Haven £1,000 to give 10 sessions free of charge to each individual and the money raised will go to support other women with this diagnosis.
