St Nicholas Church – Toilet

Following a couple of recent incidents when the toilet in the nave was left in a filthy and hazardous condition the PCC has taken the difficult decision to keep it  locked when the church and nave are not in use.

There are two main issues; firstly the toilet is cleaned by a very small group of  volunteers, and secondly it was designed to be used for events taking place in church and the nave. Regrettably it does not have the capacity to be used as a public amenity.

The church wardens and PCC all have access to the key and will be happy to open  the toilet on request if needed by visitors to church or in case of urgent need.
