Message from Mary (and John Moore):

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me and John as we fund-raise for the RNLI.
It was a good evening yesterday, a bit challenging for me I have to say but then fundraising often is a challenge isn’t it.
A huge thank you to The Angel Inn too for hosting my ‘and on the night, our’ haircuts, their support is greatly appreciated.
The point of the ‘scalping’ was to raise money for the RNLI. Husband John and son Martyn were rescued 100 miles out into the pacific when their boat sank. They were rescued by the sterling efforts of the Mexican Navy, spotter planes and Falmouth’s rescue co-ordination center. We can’t give money to the Mexican Navy, so the RNLI seemed a good choice.This means I/we can say thank you for those who go out there and risk lives to save others.
As you can see from the pictures we both had fun doing it even though its feels a bit cold on top this morning 😊.
