Grosmont Village Advent Boxes
From 1st December
Last year you may have noticed a number of boxes appearing throughout the village in the weeks up to Christmas. This was a giant sized Advent Calendar available for the villagers and visitors to enjoy. We are planning to do this once again. Each box has a number on, and on that day before Christmas the box host will unlock the box making it available for all to see inside. The box will then remain open until Christmas. Inside the box will be something to do with the Christmas story, a few lines of explanation and a token to be collected by the first child to visit the box. That token can be exchanged for a dip into the ‘goody box’ at the Nativity Live event.
