On Saturday 16th November 2019, 64 villagers and friends packed the Town Hall and enjoyed the Grosmont Events Apple Pie Supper. This was the first event to be held in the newly redecorated Town Hall, and it looked superb. A delicious 3 course meal was provided by a group of helpers too numerous to mention individually, including of course, a large variety of apple-based puds! 

It was heartening to see just how much support the event was given, both by those people who decorated the room, provided the food and stayed to help afterwards, and those who bought tickets and attended the evening, making it so successful. We shouldn’t really mention any one individual as that wouldn’t be fair, but just a shout-out to Jan Chatfield, GE Chair, who so ably steered the event to such a fantastic conclusion. Thank you to everyone who participated in any way – your support is much appreciated. Here’s to the next event!
