CALLING ALL KNITTERS

Calling all Knitters

Whilst looking at the BBC News Website some days ago I found an article from a Hospital Sister in Swindon asking for hearts to be made to give to Coronavirus patients and their families.

(I attach the link https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england-wiltshire-52165537/laura-kirbydeacon-says-the-hearts-will-help-those-who-lose-loved-ones )

I have been in contact with Neville Hall Hospital and they would also be happy to receive hearts. I have begun knitting and wondered if anyone would like to join me. I can supply yarn and a pattern to anyone who would like to help with this simple kindness to those who are struggling with the virus.

It is important to use clean yarn and seal your hearts in a taped bag, such as a freezer bag or bin liner. Please also date the bags because 72 hours must have elapsed before they are safe to use. I would be happy to forward all contributions on to the hospital. Please let me know if you would like to take part – tel:01981 240361 or email: revgaynorphb@gmail.com.

Hoping you are all keeping safe and well.
