Last Thursday the village thanked its Postmaster and, to continue with this theme, we would also like to give “Thanks” to Jim and Chloë at The Angel, along with their team of helpers.

Right from the beginning of lock down they have been providing the village with Take Away Food – Fish and Chips, Sunday Lunches (now with Puddings!) and beer and wine.  They have added to their repertoire Home-baked Bread and now, Meat and Cheese Platters.  All this has been done with efficiency and good humour and even includes a delivery service for those unable to leave home.

Sometimes it is not always convenient to take advantage of all that is on offer. Below is a message from The Angel.

We know many of you are looking forward to when restrictions are eased, and you can begin to return to the Angel to meet friends and family (and so are we!)

If you’d like to support us but can’t make it to our takeaways, why not buy a gift voucher? Any vouchers purchased during our closure will not have an expiry date so you can send to family or come along yourself when the time is right.
