The tractor run was organised by the East Wales and Borders Vintage Club in aid of a cancer charity. In normal times there would have been about 70 to 80 tractors on the run, which takes place every year . It gives people with vintage tractors the opportunity to give their machines a ride out while raising funds for good causes. I myself attend about 25 road runs per year and also take part in vintage ploughing matches all over theUK and Ireland.
We started from Abergavenny and covered approximately 35 miles around the lovely countryside encompassing your delightful village and ended up back in Abergavenny at 3.15 pm. I hope this little bit of information is helpful and please thank the people of your village for making us welcome. (I had travelled from Bridgnorth in Shropshire to attend the run.)
Kind regards
Chris Nott
