Subject: Temporary Road Closure – B4247, Grosmont 15/10 – 19/10

I write in relation to a Temporary Road Closure application that we have received for B4247, Grosmont, Monmouthshire as per the attached plan.

The Order shall come into operation on the 15th October 2021 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 15th and 19th October 2021, operating between 08:00 – 17:00.

The order is necessary for Dwr Cymru Welsh Water work to take place in a safe manner at the location.

Access for Emergency Services will be maintained at all times as far as is reasonably practicable along with pedestrian access.

You will note that the attached traffic management plan, shows the extents of the closure and necessary diversionary route.
