Thank you to everyone involved in this fundraising for Ukraine, from the people who made and donated the soup and bread, those people who helped to set up and clear away, to those in our community who came along and donated so generously.

Gilliy’s flowers and raffle made £467.20 and the soup lunch £1587.80, giving the amazing total of

The money will all be sent to the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine appeal.

This is a fantastic response from our small community, not forgetting the £300 already raised at the Church Community Coffee Morning on Tuesday. The next event for the Ukraine appeal will be on Saturday 26 March, when the BBC will be playing in the Angel Inn at 8.00pm
