Part-Y-Seal is a peaceful and relaxing haven set in the beautiful Monnow Valley on the edge of the welsh border. Our spacious rooms are en-suite with a choice of king-size, four-poster or twin beds, and all have magnificent views of the gardens and surrounding countryside. Within our 4 acres of mature gardens (which are open to the public), there is a large organic kitchen garden and greeenhouses, where we try to produce crops for eating all the year. Our free-range chickens give us delicious eggs and our latest addition, bees, provide us with organic honey. All food is homemade from breads to preserves. Guests are welcome to take their breakfast outside in summer, where you’ll see the vast amount of birds and wildlife around, or by log fires in winter. A truly relaxing break which starts with complimentary cream teas on arrival. Guests are welcome to enjoy our gardens.

Old King Street Llama Farm

Old King Street Llama Farm provides holiday cottage accommodation and llama trekking. The Cider House has a 5 star rating with Visit Wales and provides all a couple could need for a short or longer break. Immaculate barn conversion with open plan uncluttered feel. The ensuite bathroom with its roll-top bath is delightful and the king sized antique brass bed in the 22 foot bedroom is wonderfully luxurious. Wifi, Freeview TV and a herd of llamas outside your window. “The best weekend break I have had”.
Pomona Cottage has a 4 star rating with Visit Wales and a mobility rating level 1 for less able guests. Sleeps four with just the king-sized double bedroom upstairs and the wider doors to the twin room and wet-room, plus the open plan nature of the cottage make this an excellent cottage for all.
The owners run Golden Valley Llamas and can take small and larger groups for a llama trek experience, or may be invited to attend larger events, shows and parties.

The Old Chapel, Grosmont

The Old Chapel is situated in the village of Grosmont, which has its very own castle for history enthusiasts.  This fabulous former mission hall, renovated in 2019,  is situated 11 miles from Abergavenny and 12 miles from Monmouth – a great touring base.  There are plenty of walks to be had from the property as its situated on the Wye Valley, and the River Usk is 9 miles away.
