Options: where could we open a shop
Around 30 people came to an options appraisal meeting , facilitated by Peter Willis of Seven Wye.
Here is an overview of what five groups of attendees told us.
We worked in five groups.
Each group considered a number of options and scored each element. This helped us calculate an average score.
Note that not all groups scored each option.
The most popular option was for a physical shop, somewhere in Grosmont.
Village questionnaire
In October, we distributed a questionnaire to homes in Grosmont and the surrounding area. We received 94 back (and counting!)

Background info
In August, we held an open meeting about a future village shop, following the shock announcement that the closure of the existing shop (after over 200 years of trading).
We consulted Grosmont villagers at the market in September. After this, in October, we held an open meeting to discuss different options, and delivered a questionnaire to every house in the area.
We staged an exhibition at the Christmas market, and asked for feedback.
